I have been exhibiting in San Francisco, Silicon Valley and India since 2004. Some of the notable exhibits have been my show at Dhoomimal art gallery, India habitat center,Delhi and Chitrakoot art gallery,Kolkata and shows at Stanford university, Togonon Gallery, Market Street Gallery and the Triton Museum in California. I have been invited to participate in the Florence Biennale. I have received reviews in the San Francisco Chronicle, Time-out Singapore, Santa Clara weekly and Mountain View voice along with Indian newspapers Times of India, Mynt, Hindustan times, Deccan Herald.

My works are Pen&Ink, gold leaf and acrylics on canvas and resin has become my passion lately. I have developed functional products, Bespoke Jewellery and Tables in Resin. I founded Studio Chhavi, HSR where I paint customised artworks and teach art. Teaching is a passion and helps me spread awareness and to get in touch with oneself. I teach art to kids and adults.

My aim has been to question the very core of our existence. Who am I? mother, wife, daughter, artist ,daughter-in-law? is that my identity? The question pervades all of humanity and our role in the world.

I no longer recognize the person that I once was but this doesn’t mean that I am lost. I had shed layers of an identity that served it’s purpose. Throughout the process of self-discovery, I learned that I could never truly lose myself because there is no constant and we are an ever evolving species and thats what our purpose here is! My works explore creating new identity, reshaping intimacy, passion, memory and the existential self. I am the SOUL, the very existence that has evolved through countless births to evolve and progress and understand the metamorphosis of life itself.
